Through its 26 year run on TV, Doctor Who gave us many great stories, written by many talented writers. Here are my favourites 13: Bob Baker (1939-2021) and Dave Martin (1935- 2007) Bob Baked and Dave Martin were a team of writers who worked in the Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker years. While not all of their scripts were classics, their style of writing has a ton of charm and charisma, and their style of humour always carried their stories. They also created K9, and how can you not love Bobs love of dogs. My favourite of Bob and Dave’s is Three Doctors due to how excellent Bob and Dave wrote Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwees chemistry, and how William Hartnell kept scolding them on the screen. Not all of Bob Baker and Dave Martins work is top tier, but I love their work for it’s charm and charisma, hence their inclusion 12: Brian Hayles (1931-1978) Born in Portsmouth, Brian Hayles isn’t a name mentioned too often in Doctor Who circles as much as he should. Thank you for faving my IDW Sonic Review - One Year Later.

Yeah, glad to see a fellow fan of IDW. Fleetway was my favourite, but I am really enjoying IDW, and what Ian Flynn has done.
